about

 

Jacob Lindberg is poet and a third-year MFA student at the University of Arkansas. He is the co-founder and Editor-In-Chief of Up North Lit, as well as the founder and co-director of Hawk Moth Workshopsa collaborative effort between the University of Arkansas Brown Chair in English Literacy Initiative and The Arkansas Family Health Foundation. He teaches Creative Writing and Composition at the University of Arkansas. 

Lindberg was raised in Superior, Wisconsin and received his BA in English from University of Minnesota. Currently, he splits his time between Fayetteville, Arkansas and Victoria, MN, where he lives with his partner Tali and their two dogs. Lake Superior haunts him. 

His poetry has been featured or is forthcoming in Rattle, cream city review, Salamander, River Styx, and more. In 2017, he was awarded the James T. Whitehead Award for Poetry by the Department of English in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences at University of Arkansas.
