about

 

Jacob Lindberg is a poet and educator.  He is a 2020 McKnight Writing Fellow, the co-founder and Editor-In-Chief of Up North Lit, as well as the founder and former director of Hawk Moth Workshopsa collaborative effort between the University of Arkansas Brown Chair in English Literacy Initiative and The Arkansas Family Health Foundation.

Lindberg was born in Superior, WI and received his BA in English from University of Minnesota and his MFA from the University of Arkansas. Currently, he lives in Victoria, MN with his partner Tali and their two dogs.

His poetry has been featured or is forthcoming in The Adroit Journal, Cincinnati Review, Sycamore Review, Rattle, cream city review, Salamander, River Styx, and more. He was awarded the Carolyn F. Walton Fellowship in Poetry (2019) and the James T. Whitehead Award for Poetry (2017, 2019) by the University of Arkansas.
